Leaving Vietnam due to the approaching typhoon, I decided to travel to Malaysia for the remaining seven days. This proved to be a good decision, as the weather was excellent and the experience truly enjoyable. Walking around Kuala Lumpur revealed the city’s rich history and diverse cultural heritage. I was amazed by the colour and creativity on display during my visit to the popular Batu Caves.
A hike to the “Hidden Waterfall” in Rawang was both refreshing and relaxing. Visiting a Batik design workshop in Kuala Lumpur showcased the innovation and skill of the craftsmen. A day trip to Malacca deepened my understanding of the colonial past and its impact on Malaysia’s history.
The Agro Market in Pahang featured exotic floral displays, followed by a scenic visit to the Cameron Valley Tea Plantation. The journey ended with a final walk through the city centre, visiting the National Mosque of Malaysia, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and the Islamic Museum.
